Support Anthony Woods

The first candidate I would like to highlight to you is a progressive Democrat and decorated Iraq War Veteran, Anthony Woods (click here to visit his website). He clearly stands out in the crowded special election field for California’s 10th Congressional District.

I have created my own Anthony Woods for Congress support page here.

The son of a hard-working single mother, Anthony went without health insurance for most of his life and had to fight for a quality education. He earned an appointment to West Point, served two tours of duty in Iraq, earned the Bronze Star and brought all 81 of his soldiers home.

Despite this accomplishment, his career in the military was cut short when he took a stand against the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy. But Anthony continued to serve—rebuilding homes ravaged by Hurricane Katrina, and working in both the public and private sector to help create new high wage jobs.

Anthony Woods has already spent more time on the frontlines of important battles than most politicians do in a lifetime. That’s why we need Anthony Woods fighting for us in Congress.

Click here to contribute $5, $10, $25 or more today to help send Anthony Woods to Congress

Please join me in supporting Anthony Woods’ grassroots campaign, and together we can help bring new principled leadership and a fresh thoughtful voice to the United States Congress.

Thank you for your continued support,

Emanuel Pleitez

P.S. I have a goal of recruiting 50 people to contribute through my ActBlue page. Please help me send Anthony Woods to the United States Congress.
