As a candidate running for mayor of Los Angeles, Emanuel is ready to do what’s necessary to get LA on the right path. He will tackle the tough issues by providing innovative solutions. Even if momentarily disruptive.
The supporters peaceful walkout, along with the larger demonstration that took place outside the Aratani Japan America Theater, Emanuel’s answer to debate questions via Twitter and efforts across the grassroots campaign are part of a larger strategy that will hopefully prevent the city of Los Angeles from taking the same steps that have brought us the problems we face today.
Emanuel and every member of #TeamPleitez, from staff to high school interns and volunteers alike, wants to clarify that a peaceful disruption of the status quo is sometimes necessary to ensure all voices are heard.
Change often requires shaking things up. In Emanuel’s case, this “change” means innovative, resource-focused solutions that will bring growth and a culture of positivity to Los Angeles.
