Survey USA conducted a mayoral election poll for the city of Los Angeles showing Emanuel Alberto Pleitez, mayoral candidate, climbing the ranks by 3 points, up to 7%.
The poll was conducted on January 31st by KABC-TV in Los Angeles. The mayoral poll shows 1 in 7 voters are still undecided.
Survey USA looked at all 8 mayoral candidates. Across all likely voters, Pleitez increased by 3 points, Councilman Eric Garcetti dropped by 2 points, City Controller Wendy Greuel increased by 2 points, Councilwoman Jan Perry increased by 3 points, and conservative radio personality Kevin James remained stagnant.
Support from the Latino community in Los Angeles, with over 50% of the population being Latino or of Latino descent, is vital. The Survey USA poll shows Emanuel Alberto Pleitez gaining 6 points among Latino voters, putting him at 13%. The other Latino mayoral candidate, Councilman Garcetti, dropped by 8 points amongst Latinos.
Across Millennial voters ages 18 through 34, Emanuel Pleitez also gained support, increasing by 2 points. Eric Garcetti dropped by 6 points with voters ages 18 through 34.
